According to a recent survey, companies in the Technology, Media and Telecoms (TMT) sector have been snapping up central London office space at a faster rate than those in any other industry. In fact, central London property figures show that tech companies now account for 23% of office tenants in the West End, surpassing the financial sector which is at 14%.
What is driving this demand for central London offices among TMT firms? Most property analysts attribute this trend to the meteoric rise of web-based companies, who are reaping the rewards as the number of Internet users in the UK grows and investment in the sector is booming.

It’s been said that the Mediterranean region of Malta takes its name from a Greek word meaning “honey-sweet”; the island’s endemic bee subspecies and unique honey production have even earned it the popular nickname “land of honey”. The first-ever detailed study of Malta honey has now been launched, and will determine just what makes this famous Malta produce so special.
A Malta taxation expert could simply tell you that the local honey is delicious; ask one of the island’s 200 beekeepers however, and they’ll tell you that Malta honey is also a valuable export; production levels are not high (15 tonnes of honey is produced annually between Malta’s 2 500 beehives), but the product is a popular delicacy locally and abroad.
