Translation Tool Makes Dolphin Communication Possible

It is a fact that dolphins are highly intelligent animals. Films have long played with the concept of communicating with these genius mammals. In the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, dolphins were the second most intelligent specie on earth after mice. In SeaQuest DSV the dolphins had translation devices giving us the ability to understand them. As much as this sounds like science fiction and farfetched, technology has finally broken through translation barriers and are fast on their way to completing a translation tool which will allow humans to communicate with dolphins.

World Record Download Speed Achieved

Technology is developing and improving at dramatic speeds but still not fast enough for the users. We will never be satisfied until our imaginations run dry. With the amount of video content on the increase the need for a faster download speed is also required. Now scientists at Germany’s Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) have set a new data download speed record using just a single laser to transmit the equivalent of 700 DVDs in one second.

As the wonderful iPhone 4 was released rumours about the iPhone were already in the air. Apple fanatics are eager to find out what the iPhone 5 specs will be. 3D Waterproof Phone Launches

Dropping your phone in a puddle, the bath or a pint of beer no longer need be a life-ending accident. Thanks to the geniuses at Sharp, there is now a 3D waterproof phone which has been released to the general public. The name is the Aquos and it is a hybrid touchscreen phone with brains as well as brawn. The Android operating system gives it a signature amount of flexibility and the touchscreen base, combined with a tactile dialing pad may seem like an odd combination but for Sharp, the Aquos is their first proper foray into waterproof form and functionality.
