Explaining the Modern Robotic Vacuum
In retrospect The Jetsons with their housemaid robot and lunch in a pill was just as realistic as The Flintstones; as in not very realistic at all. However the robotic vacuum has got me slightly convinced that at least a housemaid robot isn’t too far off. The robotic vacuum cleaner that we have today is a far cry from the past technology that got it off to a rocky start. These days they can clean your house effectively, map and remember the layout of your house to increase efficiency, dump their own dirt and even return to their docking stations to charge themselves. Next thing you know they’ll be delivering sandwiches to appreciative housewives.
Every day more and more robotic floor vacuums exist to take over the world…of carpet cleaning. While they possibly cannot compete with a handheld vacuum for accuracy, the robotic vacuum reviews have been overall quite encouraging. The jury is still out on which is the best robotic vacuum, but their prices can range from $50 all the way up to $1,800 and I’m sure in most cases you get what you paid for. For the most part these robotic vacuum cleaners are compact and can fit beneath couches with relative ease. If one were to compare robotic vacuum cleaners in a sort of robot war, there would be no clear winner; until we find one that functions as floor steam cleaners do they’ll always lose out to more traditional methods. Either way, there are many aspects to consider when purchasing a robotic vacuum; size, weight, power consumption, noise and speed just to name a few.
There are many different brands of robotic vacuums on the market and it’s only natural that some have more features than others; however the one thing they will always hold in common is the ability to vacuum. Robotic vacuum ratings exist for all sorts of specifications, but essentially you’ll want a powerful vacuum with effective sensors for navigation and low power outage. One professional tip though, the more expensive robotic vacuum cleaners are that way because they do more than vacuum; if you simply want a vacuum do not be afraid of cheaper prices – they should be just as effective.
